Diwali Celebrations
Amity University Dubai students come together every year to celebrate Diwali with friends and classmates. Our last Diwali celebrations, included a rangoli design competition and some Indian dance moves. The festivities on campus give students a chance to meet and interact with other students, while also sharing some of the key aspects of Indian culture with each other. Celebrating different cultures and festivities is a large aspect of life at amity. It is important that we are all aware of the different cultural events that play a significant role in all our students’ lives, and come together to celebrate and acknowledge the diversity among our student community. Amity’s Events Committee also put together a number of events across the year which celebrate and raise awareness of equality and diversity.
